There are many breeds of dogs that do not easily fit into the other six Groups. This is known as the Non-Sporting Group and the commonality is wet noses and four legs. This vast group of dogs all have interesting legacies and breeding histories. Many share the label as companion animals given that their intention is to interact with people in one capacity or another.
