The small and/or pocket sized breeds of the Toy Group come in enough coat types and colors to satisfy nearly any preference, but all are small enough to fit comfortably in the lap of their adored owners. Toy dogs have a rich history that dates back centuries and their job is to be affectionate companions that can accommodate living in smaller environments where larger breeds may have challenges. Smaller dogs in the Toy Group are also easier to lift and travel with, making them full time companions 24/7. Some are even litter trained making them an easier to care for where walking to potty outdoors may be problematic.
